Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) 2025
The Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections (CROI) was established in 1993 to provide a forum for basic scientists and clinical investigators to present, discuss, and critique their investigations into the epidemiology and biology of human retroviruses and associated diseases. The synergy of basic science and clinical investigation has been a major contributor to the success of the meeting. CROI has facilitated the presentation of important discoveries in the field, thereby accelerating progress in HIV and AIDS research. CROI highlights the latest research in HIV, hepatitis viruses, SARS-CoV-2 (including long COVID), mpox, and their related conditions.
Biomedical HIV Prevention Summit (BHPS) 2025
In 2016, NMAC created the Biomedical HIV Prevention Summit (Summit) as a response to the high rates of HIV diagnosis among Black and Latinx people and the health inequities in PrEP and treatment access for communities of color.
Since inception, our goal is to translate scientific discovery and biomedical solutions for the HIV workforce into effective delivery to communities that need them the most. In its ninth year, the Summit is a unique convening of federal and state government, the HIV workforce, the healthcare sector, and PrEP users and advocates.
National Latinx Conference on HIV/HCV/SUD (NaLa) 2025
The NaLa Conference previously known as the National Latinx Conference on HIV/HCV/SUD aims to provide Healthcare and Social Service Providers with innovative concepts, best practices, and new information on how to better serve Latinx communities. Workshops will cover a wide range of topics essential to all healthcare providers and practitioners who serve the Latinx community. The aim is to provide effective treatment and consultations with the overall goal of improving patient health outcomes. The target audience are all practicing physicians, nurses and non physicians which include case managers, social workers, community health workers, support staff, linkage specialist and administration.
American Conference for the Treatment of HIV (ACTHIV) 2025
The American Conference for the Treatment of HIV (ACTHIV) is the leading conference in the United States focused solely on enhancing the skills and knowledge of frontline care teams dedicated to supporting individuals with or at risk of HIV. This premier event offers invaluable insights into the latest research, innovative treatment strategies, and advancements in HIV care and prevention. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to engage with expert speakers, network with peers, and gain practical knowledge that can be immediately integrated into clinical practice.

National Transgender Health Summit (NTHS) 2025
UCSF's Center of Excellence for Transgender Health sponsors the biennial National Transgender Health Summit (NTHS). This landmark program presents cutting-edge research, evidence-based educational sessions, and training opportunities across many disciplines.
The NTHS 2025 theme is Igniting Change: Activating Transgender Health and Healing Across the Lifespan.
