HANC attends the 2024 ACTG Annual Network Meeting
June 12-16, 2024 | Washington, DC
Team HANC comprised of Deputy Director Brian Minalga and Legacy Project Manager Cat Banobi experienced all the 2024 ACTG Annual Network Meeting had to offer.
Brian (joined by friend of Legacy, Rona Siskind) started the Legacy conferencing off strong with presentations during two ACTG GCAB sessions, educating the group on the importance and use the Scorecard Tool for Trans- and Gender-Diverse Inclusivity in HIV Clinical Trials and the Representative Studies Rubric. These very engaging workshops generated tons of questions and discussion and left GCAB members better prepared to use these tools in their work representing the concerns of diverse communities in clinical trials.
Exclusive Interviews with ACTG Network Leaders and GCAB Co-Chairs
"We talk about vaccine and cure, but another crucial factor to ending the HIV epidemic is eradication HIV STIGMA."
