Partners PrEP and CDC TDF2 show promising results for PrEP's effectiveness in preventing HIV transmission. Partners PrEP studied serodiscordant couples in Kenya and Uganda, and reported 62%-73% fewer HIV infections in participants randomized to PrEP. In the CDC TDF2 study, PrEP reportedly reduced HIV infection by 63%.
